At Wood Workers Of Texas, we believe that woodworking is an art form rooted in tradition and craftsmanship. We take great pride in every piece we create, using only the highest quality materials and techniques to ensure that our products are both beautiful and functional. Our goal is to create pieces that can be passed down through generations, bringing joy and beauty to homes for years to come.
Woodworkers of Texas was created by a retiree with the goal of making and distributing wooden gifts to needy children. While we still have that as a goal, we have grown to include a very diverse set of actions and activities.
As a service to area woodworkers, we have developed and produced woodworking shows since 2013. While these shows are designed to showcase new products and processes, they also include educational programs and offer local clubs and guilds on opporunity to recruit the next generation of woodworkers.
We were created to make and distribute wooden toys to needy children in our immediate area. As we became aware of additional needs, we expanded out area of support,
We are constantly seeking and expanding our recipient organization. We choose to work through existing organizations and these include hosptials, law enforcement, children's services, and others
Appropriate organizations should feel free to contact us to determine if we would be able to support their needs. We are a small shop and are limited in the number of organizations and children we can suppport
There are times when we are able to partnere with other organizatons and individuals to offer support other than the provision of toys. Contact us to determine if we can assist.
